Renewable Energy:
AAG is a leading wind power producer in Pakistan currently operating 52.8 MW Sapphire Wind Power Project and 3×49.735 MW Triconboston Wind Power Projects. We are committed to providing sustainable energy solutions and making a positive impact in the communities where we operate.
Our projects, located in the Jhimpir region of Sindh, have a combined capacity of over 200 MW and are financed by a consortium of international lenders including IFC, ADB, IsDB, DEG, and DFC. At Sapphire, we believe in going above and beyond to ensure that our projects not only provide clean energy but also contribute to the well-being of the local communities. We are proud to have achieved IFC’s “Excellent” rating for Environmental, Health, and Safety and to be the only wind project in Pakistan to have done so.
Thermal Energy:
With an ambition to provide more power to Pakistan a combined cycle, duel fuel power project, had started its commercial operations with a capacity of 234 MW in October 2016. It is located in Muredke, Punjab. This project is playing an integral role in reducing the gap between country’s power capacity and on going electricity demand.
